Parking Studies

We have conducted countless studies to right-size the parking for new developments and to minimize parking impacts on neighborhood streets. Hexagon staff have also completed areawide parking studies to quantify existing and future parking demand and develop a framework for managing parking in a Downtown setting or other planning area.

Our Principal-level staff are involved in each study to ensure a defensible report that makes sense. This is because we understand that findings on parking can have ripple effects on the success of trip reduction programs and neighborhood concerns. Hexagon staff have also evaluated operational issues related to shared parking at mixed-use developments, valet parking, and new parking technology such as mechanical parking lifts and automated puzzle lift systems.
