Bicycle and Pedestrian Studies

Hexagon has conducted numerous planning studies and designs focused on bicycle and pedestrian travel throughout the Bay Area.

We focus on collaboration and communication with the entire project team. Whether it’s promptly putting together material for the next community meeting, or brainstorming innovative designs given a fast turnaround, our experience shows that being responsive always helps out the project schedule.

We provide designs that make sense for all road users, because we provide both planning-level studies and engineering designs for these bike/pedestrian facilities. We have conducted numerous road diet studies to reduce vehicle travel lanes to make room for bicycle lanes, often buffered, and wider sidewalks. We have also prepared plans for adding bicycle signals to intersections.

See below for some of our recent bicycle and pedestrian projects to promote active transportation and improving the overall bike and pedestrian environment.
