| Hexagon was part of the team to prepare an environmental impact report for proposed development on Communications Hill. This is an area of San Jose where a master plan was prepared to guide the development of over 1,000 dwelling units. Several development challenges were presented by the steep terrain and rocky soil. In addition, the area needs several new roads and road extensions. Hexagon analyzed a specific development proposal that was part of the buildout of the master plan. The challenge was to design a road system that could accommodate partial buildout while still allowing the project to be economically feasible. | |
